Responsibilities

Total Rewards Management: Direct the administration of comprehensive medical, retirement, and wellness offerings; serve as the primary resource for staff inquiries and open enrollment periods
Tax Compliance Oversight: Maintain adherence to statutory tax requirements (including FICA, FUTA, etc.) and partner with the payroll department to ensure precise tax reporting
Generalist HR Assistance: Facilitate the employee lifecycle by supporting onboarding, maintaining digital personnel files, and coordinating the performance evaluation process
Risk & Insurance Coordination (Optional): Assist in the oversight of commercial insurance policies and provide support during the claims resolution process
Governance & Reporting: Lead the preparation of mandatory government filings and internal benefits audits to ensure total regulatory alignment

Required

Strong command of employment tax legislation, including federal, state, and local requirements
Advanced skill in utilizing HRIS platforms, payroll ecosystems, and specialized benefits enrollment portals
Comprehensive knowledge of health, dental, life, and 401(k)/retirement plan structures
At least 2 years of professional experience specialized in benefits administration and payroll tax functions
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (equivalent experience considered)
Exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a high level of discretion regarding confidential data

Preferred

Prior exposure to managing corporate or organizational insurance portfolios is a plus
Risk & Insurance Coordination (Optional): Assist in the oversight of commercial insurance policies and provide support during the claims resolution process
