Customer Service Representative
Samaritan is a healthcare organization seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide compassionate support and guidance to patients and families regarding hospice care options. The role involves educating clients, coordinating services, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
Educate and Inform: Guide patients, families, and healthcare professionals through hospice care options and Samaritan’s available services and programs
Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and compassionate support via phone and email
Client Coordination: Handle new patient intakes, coordinate services, and resolve scheduling needs or emergent issues in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with referral sources, payors, community organizations, and internal teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Administrative Support: Manage backend workflow tasks and maintain accurate documentation using EMR and other systems. Obtain and verify all necessary demographic, clinical, and insurance information
Team Collaboration: Work alongside Customer Service Representatives, Financial Counselor and clinical staff to support and enhance delivery service
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical, hospice, or home care environment
Preferred
associate or bachelor's degree preferred
