Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and execute audits from start to finish, including risk assessment, testing, issue identification, and reporting
Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality reviews on time and within scope
Provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to audit staff
Communicate audit strategy, results, and recommended corrective measures to stakeholders and senior management
Participate in continuous monitoring and risk assessment to identify business trends and evolving risks
Ensure compliance with market regulations and internal controls for trading and securitized products
Track and validate resolution of audit issues, both internally and as raised by regulators
Assist in executing the department’s broader audit and assurance plans
Support business process improvement initiatives and departmental strategic projects
Promote collaboration and strong working relationships with business units and key stakeholders

Required

9+ years of audit experience in investment banking or capital markets, including managing audit teams
Extensive experience with securitized products (ABS, CLOs, ECM/DCM), interest rate swaps, fixed income, and electronic trading platforms
Deep understanding of risk management frameworks for trading and securitized products
Knowledge of market regulations, including Dodd-Frank, Volcker Rule, and trading supervision expectations
Proven expertise in audit techniques, internal controls assessment, and workpaper standards
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence stakeholders
Leadership skills to motivate teams and gain respect across the organization
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, Tableau
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
