Responsibilities

Researches, develops, and prepares preliminary and final program plans for short- and long-range capital planning efforts
Assists in the planning efforts and capital project development from concept through design and construction
Serves as a resource for the development, analysis, and synthesis of space utilization and facilities planning

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: At least two years of experience in planning, design and development, architecture, historical preservation/conservation. Master's degree will be considered in lieu of experience
Licensure: Professional registration in architecture or engineering is desirable. Certification as a LEED Accredited Professional may be beneficial

Preferred

Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or planning
A minimum of 5-8 years of progressively relevant planning and/or design experience with an analytical background and strengths in space utilization, benchmarking, overall program planning, developing feasibility studies for capital projects and development of long-range capital planning and space allocation strategies
Experience in higher education
LEED AP accreditation preferred
Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
