The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud environments, automation, and observability, focusing on achieving high availability and resiliency through various strategies and tools.

Responsibilities
Design and implement SRE strategies to achieve high availability and resiliency
Work in cloud environments including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and AWS EMR
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Implement monitoring, observability, and performance assessment solutions
Design for scalability and high availability; conduct performance monitoring and testing
Automate processes using Java, Bash, Python, Perl, or similar languages
Manage production environments, firewalls, and networking with confidence
Apply architectural patterns at scale, including API design and efficient delivery pipelines
Collaborate within Agile engineering teams
Deploy, monitor, and analyze systems using tools like Splunk and Datadog, with a focus on predictive analysis
Utilize automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
