Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements for nonprofit, healthcare, and association clients
Oversee fieldwork, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely delivery of audit reports
Supervise and mentor junior staff throughout audit engagements
Participate in planning, risk assessment, and testing phases
Maintain compliance with accounting and auditing standards (GAAP, Yellow Book, etc.)
Assist with technical research and application of nonprofit-specific regulations and guidance
Collaborate with managers and partners on engagement strategy and client service delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA license or progress toward CPA certification
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Preferred
3+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with nonprofit and/or healthcare clients
Familiarity with Form 990, Uniform Guidance audits, and grant reporting
Experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem FX)
