Responsibilities
Interact directly with residents and deliver high quality, person-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Develop authentic relationships with residents and family members to help residents lead lives of enrichment
Provide hands-on care that may include assisting with meals, laundry, showering, vital signs, and more
Engage with residents in a friendly, caring, and warm manner by initiating conversation and activities
Support residents in doing as much for themselves as possible and promote positive leisure time
Observe/report any changes or concerns of physical, psychological, and social changes to the Wellness Coordinator or Wellness Manager
Follow all established safety and infection control policies/procedures and intervene/report unsafe situations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Two years related experience in a Health Care setting and/or training
An equivalent combination of education, work and experience will be considered
Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required
CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
Preferred
National Caregiver Certification Course (NCCC) welcomed, not required
