HVAC Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives; set clear performance goals, provide ongoing training, and conduct regular performance evaluations
Develop, implement, and own effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed company revenue targets for residential HVAC services and equipment
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction and driving repeat and referral business
Conduct market analysis to monitor industry trends, evaluate competitor activities, and identify new opportunities for service expansion and strategic improvement
Oversee the creation of accurate, competitive, and compelling proposals, quotes, and contracts for HVAC installations, maintenance plans, and service agreements
Serve as a critical link, working closely with the service and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and a superior customer experience
Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics (e.g., lead conversion, revenue performance, productivity) to senior management. Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies

Required

1+ years of experience in HVAC sales is required (this is a non-negotiable)
1+ years of experience in a leadership or management role overseeing a sales team
Strong, verifiable understanding of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel locally within the service area as needed
