Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure-native cloud architectures in support of enterprise systems and mission-critical programs
Design, build, and operate end-to-end Azure pipelines supporting data ingestion, workflow automation, application workloads, and AI/ML enablement
Develop event-driven and scheduled pipelines using Azure-native services with secure service-to-service integration
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application, platform, and infrastructure deployments
Apply DevSecOps practices to streamline system development, integration, deployment, and operations
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud infrastructure and pipeline resources
Ensure pipelines and architectures incorporate monitoring, logging, error handling, resiliency, and cost optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and program teams to define cloud strategies and technical requirements
Support systems engineering lifecycle activities from concept development through deployment and sustainment
Conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis to inform architecture decisions
Participate in Agile development activities including PI Planning, sprint execution, and retrospectives
Train and mentor staff; provide company wide learning seminars on select topics
Serve as a technical thought leader for cloud modernization initiatives

Required

Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, physics, mathematics or similar
6+ years of experience architecting and implementing cloud-based systems
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure-native architectures and building production-grade pipelines that support data ingestion, automation, application workflows, and AI-enabled solutions
Prior experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Prior experience using Infrastructure as Code in Azure
Strong understanding of Azure identity, access control, and secure integration patterns

Preferred

Active Top Secret clearance
Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Experience designing data and AI/ML pipelines in Azure
Experience building event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration solutions
Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle practices
Agile and SAFe experience; certification is a plus
Experience using Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with Azure governance models
Experience supporting solutions in regulated environments
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
Familiarity with Cameo, SysML, or UML
