Responsibilities
Act as a go-to Salesforce expert for architecture, data models, workflows, roles, and profiles
Lead Salesforce implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations
Design and support integrations between Salesforce and systems like EHRs, billing platforms, and third-party tools
Stay up to date on Salesforce features and best practices and help the team apply them effectively
Lead requirements gathering for complex, cross-functional initiatives
Review existing processes, define future-state workflows, and clearly document gaps and improvements
Use SMART criteria and LEAN techniques to identify opportunities for automation
Translate business needs into clear, practical technical requirements
Serve as a senior member of agile teams and help set team standards and working agreements
Mentor analysts and team members on writing strong user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation in Azure DevOps
Help teams stay focused on sprint commitments while continuously improving quality and delivery speed
Develop and maintain process flows, mapping documents, and batch job documentation
Write change requests, SQL queries, and data extracts
Maintain SharePoint pages and other project documentation
Work closely with QA engineers to create test plans, test scripts, and test data
Step in to lead testing efforts when needed
Track defects, support troubleshooting, and communicate progress clearly
Troubleshoot complex reports and data issues
Take the lead on resolving system-related problems
Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst on an agile team
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, including architecture, data models, workflows, roles, and profiles
Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems such as EHRs, billing platforms, or third-party applications
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with Facets (a plus)
Experience working in healthcare environments and understanding regulations like HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines
Proven ability to improve processes, translate business needs into technical solutions, and lead through influence
Experience using LEAN techniques to analyze requirements and identify automation opportunities
IIBA certification (required upon hire)
