The role involves performing quality assurance testing, assisting in product delivery, and ensuring safe and timely delivery of products to customers.

Responsibilities

May perform quality assurance testing of instrumentation or quality control of radiopharmaceutical products under the direction of the authorized nuclear pharmacist and/or Radiation Safety Officer (RSO); Tests may include thin layer chromatography, survey meter operational checks, MCA/SCA operational checks, area wipes and surveys or other health physics related tasks

Conduct wipes and surveys using appropriate instrumentation such as portable survey meter, multichannel or single channel analyzer (MCA/SCA)

May participate in return and disposal of spent radiopharmaceutical doses into appropriate biohazard sharps containers for decay-in-storage, pursuant to bloodborne pathogens training

May assist in activities to prepare products for delivery, including surveying, packing, wrapping and completing necessary DOT paperwork, shipment labeling, and bill of lading

Perform or assist with operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements; Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies

Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers while complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures

Operate COMPANY vehicle to deliver products to hospitals, clinics, and other facilities as instructed

Maintain a safe and clean work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition. 80% of this job is working in the pharmacy area following SOP’s for cleaning and disinfecting tools/ work areas. 20% courier

Driver or runner work experience preferred

Light, occasional physical effort required to move, lift and deliver containers and boxes up to 65 lbs

Continuous mental and visual attention required to drive vehicle and deliver products, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity

Ability to operate vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license

1 Year relevant experience (Preferred)
