The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a County Fiscal Officer 2 for Cambria County Children and Youth Services. Overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and reporting activities

Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies

Maintaining fiscal integrity while supporting leadership decision-making

Preparing budgets by reviewing expenditures, analyzing program changes, and projecting estimate costs based on funding requirements

Overseeing completion of state and federal expenditure reports

Participating in required audits

Assisting with preparing the Needs Based Plan & Budget

Overseeing all grants obtained by the agency

Guiding employees through completion of mandated forms related to financial matters

Conducting staff training regarding accounting methods and procedures

Required

One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or

Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or

Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must be able to perform essential job functions

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law

Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
