NEOGOV is seeking a Sewer Operator-in-Training or Technician for the Sammamish Plateau Water & Sewer District. This full-time position involves the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the District’s sewer facilities, including inspections and repairs of sewer lines and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Inspects, documents, and maintains underground sewer line and lateral condition using closed circuit televising system and high velocity cleaning equipment
Collects and records data and condition assessment for asset management and maintains accurate and appropriate information for updating maps, as-built plans, and/or the maintenance management system

Qualification

Sewer operations experienceReading construction drawingsWastewater Collections certificationCDL licenseFirst Aid/CPR certificationWashington State Flagging CardSafety procedures knowledgeCollaboration

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Washington State Driver's License in good standing
CDL license within 18 months from date of hire
Ability to obtain Wastewater Collections (WWC) 1 within one year from date of hire
Ability to obtain Washington State Flagging Card within one year from date of hire
Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within one year from date of hire
Must be able to respond to District boundaries within 40 minutes once on-call
