Drive business development and lead project delivery, while also building and developing a local engineering team
Lead a major program team for the organization
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Skilled in developing relationships with key clients with an ability to drive business growth
Proficient with electronic communications (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Skilled in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
Preferred
Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
15+ years of prior experience
5+ years of experience as a program manager
Committed to life-long learning to stay informed about contemporary issues
Established relationships with railroad clients
Strong business development skills
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO
Membership in a professional practice organization, national board member or officer, recognized expert on statewide activity, and resource for national activities and organization
