Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to vendors
Issue customer invoices and statements, and follow up on outstanding receivables
Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation of documentation and schedules for internal and external audits
Collaborate with auditors to provide necessary information and resolve any audit findings

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
