Responsibilities
Lead advanced dynamic analysis of space vehicles and subassemblies
Contribute to the development and leadership of a design loads process
Build finite element models from geometry and optimize model performance
Provide recommendations on model sizing and runtime trade-offs
Prepare Coupled Loads Analysis (CLA) models and assess results
Deliver timely analysis support to design teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical/structural dynamics analysis of spacecraft
Proficiency with FEMAP and NASTRAN, including super-element substructuring
Strong background in finite element modeling best practices and check procedures
Skilled in automation and coding (FEMAP API, MATLAB, Python, MS Excel, VBA)
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively
High competency in MS Office tools
Flexibility in fast-paced environments
In-depth knowledge of NASTRAN solution sequences, case control, and bulk data cards
Ability to run NASTRAN independently, outside of pre/post systems
Advanced MS Excel usage, including macros
Preferred
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with a focus on dynamics
Familiarity with Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) methods for predicting high-frequency dynamic environments
