Responsibilities
Owning the technical build-out and ongoing enhancement of ServiceNow, including configuration, custom development, workflow design, and integrations
Designing scalable solutions that turn business needs into high-performance applications, features, and automated processes
Providing day-to-day leadership to developers: assigning work, reviewing deliverables, resolving technical issues, and mentoring team members
Acting as a key partner to architects and IT leadership to ensure projects align with enterprise architecture and platform roadmaps
Creating architecture diagrams, technical designs, and other documentation used to guide development and maintain coding standards
Overseeing code quality—reviewing, validating, and ensuring best practices are consistently followed
Working closely with offshore and vendor development teams, ensuring external work meets internal expectations and design guidelines
Advancing platform governance and ensuring that processes, integrations, and solutions support long-term stability and scalability
Supporting all phases of the development lifecycle: requirement review, design, build, testing, deployment, and production support
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on experience working with and developing on the ServiceNow platform
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Certified Implementation Specialist
Expert-level proficiency with IT Service Management modules (Incident, Request, Knowledge, Change)
Deep experience in at least two of the following areas: Hardware/Software Asset Management, Security Operations (VR/SIR), Strategic Portfolio Management (EA, Demand & Resource Planning), CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
Strong consultative and communication skills, with the ability to guide partners and vendors through complex technical decisions
Prior experience supervising or leading a development team
