Responsibilities

Assist with managing, evaluating, and controlling fire scenes during origin and cause investigations; Support senior investigators by collecting and preserving evidence, removing debris, securing and photographing scenes, interviewing witnesses, and assisting with scene diagrams; Perform data entry for incident reports and assist with criminal history checks; Compile data for media release and track case-related information through databases; Assist with scene activities and help coordinate personnel at post-incident scenes to ensure safety and evidence preservation

Participates in training and development: Engage in job knowledge training and skill set testing necessary for performing essential duties; Work toward attaining and maintaining all required certifications

Performs other related duties as assigned
