They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with ten to fifteen years of experience to lead design efforts, manage projects, and contribute to business development in their DC Metro office.

Design of electrical systems

Manage and design multiple concurrent projects

Strong ability to interpret technical drawings

Lead design team efforts

Manage project team for budget and schedule control

Develop fee and qualification-based proposals

Conduct marketing/business development activities

Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers

Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale

Ability to travel

Required

Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)

10 to 15 years of experience

Must be familiar with electrical/energy codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc.)

Must have SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software experience

The focus of the experience must be in the power industry associated with electrical engineering and design of Industrial, higher education, healthcare, federal government and/or commercial projects

Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities

Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers

Conduct marketing/business development activities

Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale

Ability to travel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Project Management experience and/or certifications

Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
