Responsibilities
Design and deliver Azure-native services such as APIs, event-driven Functions, and App Service or AKS workloads using Python or C#, applying clean architecture principles and automated tests across unit, integration, and regression layers
Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including build, test, security scanning, deployment, and rollback for multi-stage environments, while enforcing gates and approvals aligned with release policies
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, leveraging layered modules and platform guardrails for secure and efficient provisioning
Build secure-by-design systems using industry best practices such as least privilege and zero trust principles to meet governance and access standards
Design scalable synchronous and asynchronous architectures using Azure services, including Kubernetes for request/response and Service Bus for event-driven apps, applying retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, and back-pressure for resilience
Enable end-to-end observability with Application Insights and Log Analytics
Develop generative AI-enabled features and services on Azure using agentic patterns and frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework
Optimize performance and cost through autoscaling rules, caching strategies, and reviews of Azure Advisor recommendations
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Application development experience in container-driven or serverless environments such as Kubernetes, Fargate, Lambda, or Azure Functions
Experience testing solutions across the stack, including unit, integration, and regression testing for applications and automation
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
Experience leading team members on business-prioritized initiatives
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting, prioritization, and escalation
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-changing environment
Business acumen and understanding of emerging technologies
