Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, chillers, conveyors), and facility systems
Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical components according to maintenance schedules
Document maintenance activities, findings, and corrective actions in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Identify potential equipment issues and report them to the maintenance team for corrective action
Replace worn or damaged parts and perform minor repairs as needed
Assist with equipment calibration and validation procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and 5S standards
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency

Required

High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in injection molding or plastics manufacturing
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures
Basic computer skills and experience with CMMS software
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
Exposure to manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and moving machinery

Preferred

Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field
