Litigation Legal Assistant
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling commercial litigation cases
Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence
Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain court calendars
Coordinate filings in state and federal courts (including e-filing)
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally and efficiently
Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and document organization
Qualification
Required
2–3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures and electronic filing systems
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
