Epic Willow Analyst
iMethods is looking for an Epic Analyst to design, implement, and maintain the Epic EHR systems within the organization. The role involves collaborating with healthcare providers and IT staff to ensure a customer-centric experience while coordinating IT activities based on user requirements.
Responsibilities
Understand user workflows, core functions, and processes of the supported business area which may include inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory, or revenue cycle
Coordinate with clinical end users and apply knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements
Designs, configures, tests, troubleshoots and maintains programs/applications
Apply detailed knowledge of system functionality to implement new applications and modules
Document business requirements, current and future state workflows, and any custom builds as appropriate
Coordinate and participate in all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades
Research and resolve issues with external and internal resources as needed
Provide support during go-live events, including during standard off-hours support times
Lead small and medium-sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. Develop key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and go-live events
Responsible for ongoing on-call duties for incidents outside of business hours
Participate in cross-training for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications
Complete and submit thorough weekly status reports to iMethods and organizational leadership as directed
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
(Active) Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification and/or Willow IP and/or Willow Inventory
Experience supporting most recent Epic version (NVT 2024)
Five (5) or more years of Epic Willow configuration experience
Experience with implementation of Epic EHR in a complex, multi-hospital healthcare and/or hospital setting
Strong professional interpersonal skills in working with others
Preferred
Experience providing post go-live support and optimization to Willow tickets and issues
Minimum of one (1) full life-cycle Epic implementations; supporting Epic Willow highly preferred
