The Proposal Manager will lead the proposal response process, collaborating closely with Project Managers to develop technical solutions and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit strategy sessions with business development teams to develop capture plans and winning strategies

Analyze RFQ/Ps upon release and prepare written assessments outlining requirements for successful response efforts

Develop high-quality, persuasive proposals and presentations for multiple concurrent pursuits, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and quality standards

Coordinate and supports key messages and collaborate with graphics teams to deliver impactful visuals

Partner with project managers to prepare technical sections, performing comprehensive and accurate editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy

Build, update, and maintain a library of qualification statements, project descriptions, and resumes and qualifications showcasing firm strengths and client benefits

Mentor peers, marketing coordinators, and assistants, while promoting proposal best practices

Design and deliver training sessions for the Marketing Team to implement best practices

Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews of proposals, resumes, and project sheets to maintain excellence

Flexible schedule with occasional overtime (evenings and weekends) to meet strict deadlines and ensure top-quality deliverables

Required

Strong proofreading/editing skills and exceptional attention to detail

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, in meeting tight deadlines

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills for collaborating across teams

Proficiency with electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Suite)

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field

Previous experience reading and responding to RFPs

A minimum of 10 years of recent experience working in Marketing, Business Development, Proposals, or Graphics department at an A/E/C firm is strongly desired

Proficient in InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
