Senior Data Analyst
The client is a fast-growing, data-driven organization seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the business. This role involves analyzing large datasets, building dashboards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches
Deliver insights that inform strategy across Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Operations
Identify drivers of performance, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics tools
Define and standardize core KPIs, metrics, and data definitions across teams
Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and data reliability
Ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable, and executive-ready
Act as a trusted analytics partner to cross-functional leaders
Collaborate with Product, RevOps, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to support decision-making
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence
Support ad-hoc analysis requests while balancing long-term analytical priorities
Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Build and maintain analytical data models in the data warehouse
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting layers
Partner with Data Engineering to improve data pipelines and structures
Support A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement
Analyze experiments to assess impact on conversion, retention, revenue, or engagement
Develop measurement strategies for new initiatives and product launches
Recommend data-backed optimizations based on results
Help define best practices for data usage, documentation, and governance
Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or quality issues and propose solutions
Contribute to data literacy efforts across the organization
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or business intelligence roles
Proven experience supporting decision-making in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Strong ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights
Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, complex joins)
Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience with experimentation analysis and statistical concepts
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, marketplace, or high-growth technology companies
Familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel)
Exposure to Python or R for advanced analysis (nice to have)
Experience supporting executive reporting and board-level metrics
