Responsibilities
Provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system
Develop and implement the GenTax–IRMS interface under the direction of Virginia Department of Taxation management
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements
Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications
Qualification
Required
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team
Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements
Work independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment
Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications
Hands-on experience developing PowerBuilder applications (PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher) — 7 Years
Ability to design and develop clear, maintainable code — 5 Years
Experience using Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps) for version control and application lifecycle management — 5 Years
Experience working in Agile/Scrum project management environments — 2 Years
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment — 2 Years
Strong attention to detail with a results-driven mindset — 2 Years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with development teams, team leads, and business analysts — 2 Years
Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle 19c or higher, MySQL, or similar) — 7 Years
Ability to design and develop clear, maintainable code — 7 Years
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Preferred
Technical knowledge in designing, developing and maintaining TAX processing and revenue management systems
Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge
