Responsibilities
Maintains production schedules for team based upon inventory levels, production capabilities, and promised ship dates
Meets customer promised ship dates or provides immediate communication to owner/customer service when ship dates are threatened
Assists in increasing production output by managing workflow, speed, and quality concerns
Ensures posting and inventory is accurately and timely transacted matching physical movements and troubleshoots/reports any discrepancies
Works cross-functionally with other departments including: customer service, human resources, purchasing, engineering, quality, and other production areas to meet production goals
Exhibits and enforces safe behaviors within the team at all times
Ensures adherence of company policies and procedures within assigned team
Performs team management items such as: time-card management, interviewing, training, performance discussions/progressive discipline, attendance management, performance evaluations, and addressing employee concerns
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED may be required
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment required
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
Knowledge of production processes including assembly, quality control, and inventory management
Proficiency in production management software/ERP systems
Preferred
Additional education in a technical or business-related discipline seen favorably
Experience working with or education in Micro-Electronic Mechanical Systems (MEMS) strongly preferred
Experience with soldering, oscilloscopes, voltage or multi-meters, and other calibration tools preferred
Production management: 3 years (Preferred)
PCB: 3 years (Preferred)
Power Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
