Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Canoe for alternative investment document processing and data extraction
Manage capital call and distribution entries into Black Diamond with speed and accuracy
Oversee the ByAllAccounts aggregation database: daily feed monitoring, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
Support ongoing improvements to data processing, analytics, and reporting workflows to enhance usability and quality
Reconcile custodian data (Fidelity) to Black Diamond: trades, cash, positions, and performance inputs
Investigate and resolve breaks in partnership with custodians and internal stakeholders
Perform ongoing QA/validation across Black Diamond, Canoe, ByAllAccounts, and custodian feeds
Partner closely with senior investment operations leadership to ensure reporting consistency and reliability
Set up new accounts in portfolio accounting systems, including household structure, model assignments, and reporting configuration
Manage closed accounts through the reporting lifecycle with proper archival and clean data trails
Maintain manual updates for restricted assets, non-marketable securities, and held-away accounts
Assist with trade execution support and validation of trade files
Confirm settlement accuracy and coordinate with the investment team
Support system testing, automation efforts, and workflow optimization tied to trading and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
1–3 years experience in investment operations, performance reporting, reconciliation, or portfolio data work
Familiarity with Black Diamond and/or Addepar, Orion, or similar portfolio accounting platforms
Strong Excel skills; comfort working with large datasets and repeatable processes
Detail-obsessed, analytical, and process-driven—someone who takes pride in clean inputs and clean outputs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally (investments, advisors, client service)
Preferred
1–3 years experience in investment operations, performance reporting, reconciliation, or portfolio data work
