The firm is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead the underwriting and execution of complex asset-based and structured credit investments, while managing relationships with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the underwriting and execution of complex asset-based and structured credit investments
Conduct diligence, financial modeling, term sheet negotiation, and documentation
Manage ongoing portfolio management
Work directly with borrowers, intermediaries and corporate/sponsors
Collaborate with internal teams

Required

4 -7 years of experience in underwriting and executing special situations/distressed private credit/asset based lending
Strong communication skills
Ability to build trust with clients and coworkers
Experience leading the underwriting and execution of complex asset-based and structured credit investments
Familiarity with legal documentation and intercreditor dynamics in ABL and structured lending deals
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment within a larger institutional platform

Preferred

Workout and restructuring experience at a major commercial bank or credit manager
Transaction experience at a middle-market investment bank or financial advisory
