Responsibilities

Review aging A/R reports and identify overdue balances for follow-up
Contact clients, insurance providers, and funding agencies to resolve outstanding payments
Research billing discrepancies and issue rebills as necessary
Update and track collection activities in Arize/Etactics
Communicate with professionalism and compassion regarding account status and payment options
Partner with program and administrative teams to resolve billing issues and maintain accurate client records
Support process improvement initiatives to streamline collections and documentation practices
Maintain confidentiality and ensure full HIPAA compliance
Provide additional support as needed

Qualification

Medicaid experienceBilling systems proficiencyEHR software proficiencyInsurance claims understandingCommunication skillsDetail-orientedOrganizational skillsTime-management skills

Required

3–5+ years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable; healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred
Medicaid experience required
Proficiency with billing systems or EHR software; Arize/Etactics experience is a plus
Strong understanding of insurance claims, reimbursements, and client invoicing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines

Preferred

healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred
Arize/Etactics experience is a plus
