Responsibilities
Assist with long-range audit planning and execution for Audits Branch I
Direct and coordinate audit activities to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance
Collaborate with other Senior Management Auditors to develop and maintain an agile auditing approach, emphasizing: Improved communication, Iterative planning, and Flexibility and responsiveness to emerging risks
Supervise audit staff and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship
Exercise full management and supervisory authority when acting in place of the SupMA
Ensure audit work aligns with DMV priorities, statutory requirements, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Valid driver license and ability to pass fingerprint clearance prior to hire
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and DMV-related laws, rules, and regulations
Demonstrated logical reasoning, sound judgment, and professional demeanor
Proven ability to manage audits and produce clear, well-documented written reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, effective decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the DMV to internal and external stakeholders
