Responsibilities
General bookkeeping for the site
Run payroll
Month end close
Inventory tracking and tie outs
Budgeting support in partnership with FP&A
Reporting to the holding entity
Oversee AP and AR with support from an accounting assistant
Ensure margin and profit accuracy
No job costing required, commission based jobs only

Required
Site level Accountant role supporting two operating locations
Focus on accurate bookkeeping and monthly close, not complex accounting
Strong emphasis on culture and work life balance
Hands on ownership of the books
General bookkeeping for the site
Run payroll
Month end close
Inventory tracking and tie outs
Budgeting support in partnership with FP&A
Reporting to the holding entity
Oversee AP and AR with support from an accounting assistant
Ensure margin and profit accuracy
No job costing required, commission based jobs only
High volume of small residential jobs during peak demand
Fewer but larger commercial jobs at times
Inventory is the most nuanced and evolving area
Lean headcount with many 1099 workers
No highly technical or complex accounting requirements
Transitioning off QuickBooks
Moving to Salesforce integrated with Accounting Seed
System testing underway with most setup complete
Comfortable working independently
Strong grasp of general accounting principles
High performing, sales focused environment
Informal, fun culture with strong employee appreciation
Tenure and loyalty are meaningfully recognized
Predictable workload
Typical day ends around 4 or 5 PM
Rarely takes work home
Preferred
Site level or operational accounting experience strongly preferred
Construction or similar operational environments helpful but not required
