Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and tailored insurance solutions
Conduct outside sales activities to identify new business opportunities and expand the agency’s client base
Manage sales administration tasks, including policy processing, documentation, and follow-up communications
Engage in negotiation to offer suitable insurance products that meet clients’ needs
Utilize marketing strategies to promote agency services and increase brand awareness
Assist clients with benefits administration, policy reviews, and claims support
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards during client interactions
Participate in telemarketing efforts to reach potential customers and generate leads
Analyze client data to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling insurance products
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a focus on customer engagement
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences
Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to handle customer service inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Preferred
Multilingual or bilingual skills are preferred to serve a broader client base
Knowledge of insurance sales processes, marketing, and benefits administration is advantageous
Prior experience with HIPAA regulations is a plus but not required
