Responsibilities
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of GridOS DERMS projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
Coordinate activities across DERMS engineering, integration, testing, forecasting, and operational support teams
Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, delivery dashboards, and stakeholder status reports
Ensure strict adherence to cybersecurity, interoperability standards, regulatory guidelines , and utility compliance requirements
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communication, issue resolution, delivery governance , and escalation management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives , delivery process optimization, and best practices in DERMS project execution
Support resource allocation, skill development, and mentoring within the DERMS delivery organization
Oversee change management, patch/release coordination , and production readiness activities for DERMS environments
Ensure successful handover to operations/support teams post deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or a related field
8+ years of experience in project/service delivery within the power systems, renewable energy, or distribution grid domain
Strong understanding of DERMS, ADMS, SCADA, and distributed energy resource integration
Experience managing mission-critical grid solutions, real-time operations, or distributed energy programs
Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
Strong experience with budgeting, risk management, delivery governance, and multi-team coordination
Minimum 10+ years of total professional experience in utility, energy, or grid-technology domains
Preferred
Experience with GE Vernova GridOS DERMS or other commercial DERMS platforms
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
Knowledge of DER-related standards such as IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR, IEC 61850, interoperability frameworks, and communication protocols
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, virtualization, and control center environments
Background in DER forecasting, DER aggregation, grid optimization, or integration of renewable generation
