They are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support and manage daily operations within a semiconductor equipment vendor’s R&D lab, focusing on inventory control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Inspect, audit, and maintain lab areas to ensure safety, IP protection, and operational compliance
Sustain and govern lab services, including material stocking, dispensing, and tracking
Support lab improvement projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy
Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis, implementing preventive actions
Partner with lab users and stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve lab services
Maintain accurate records using MS Office tools and lab systems (QuickBase preferred)
Operate daily in a cleanroom environment, following PPE and safety protocols
Qualification
Required
Experience in lab operations, inventory control, or materials management
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work 100% onsite in a cleanroom lab environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
Preferred
Experience supporting semiconductor, engineering, or R&D labs
Familiarity with QuickBase or lab inventory systems
Experience with safety audits, IP control, or lab governance
