J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and a license to practice law in at least one U.S. state, preferably CT or MA

Registration as a U.S. patent attorney

Thorough knowledge of U.S. patent practice; e.g., at least 3 years of substantial patent preparation and prosecution. Knowledge of international patent practice (e.g., EPO) is a plus, but not required

Strong writing, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Strong academic record

Due to client requirements, candidate must be a U.S. citizen

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical, aeronautical, or electrical engineering degree or a physics degree, but other technical degrees will be considered. Work experience in a technical field is a plus. Military experience is a plus
