Responsibilities

Performs non-destructive inspections and/or tests on objects or materials using pre-approved procedures to examine and identify functionality and performance and determine conformance with specifications

Ensures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged. Uses ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques and systems as needed

Directs and/or trains students in the performance of daily laboratory activities with the objective of achieving optimal quality control, process implementation and project performance

Establishes, updates, and reviews laboratory procedures according to appropriate standards and/or requirements to ensure they are viable and current
