ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Officer - Bilingual to assist members with their financial needs regarding new accounts, loans, and notary services. This role involves providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone, while also promoting branch products and services.

Responsibilities

Assists members with all financial transactions - answer questions about products and services, interview members to open, close, and/or maintain accounts and loans, and perform duties as a notary public. Obtains appropriate documentation/signatures and submit accordingly in a timely manner. Responds to requests from other branches and departments to assist with additional language needs

Recognizes and recommends additional products/services that will benefit members’ financial well-being

Promotes and actively participates in any branch promotions and credit union campaigns

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bilingual/Spanish speaking required

One year or more of customer service and sales experience is required

A high school diploma or GED

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively interact and make recommendations to all levels of the organization

Must possess attention to detail and mathematical ability to perform basic math skills

Excellent organizational and analytical skills and reasoning ability required

Must be proficient with Microsoft 365

Strong customer service orientation is required

Must be able to work well with others
