Responsibilities
Lead the enterprise identity strategy, including the consolidation of Active Directory forests, trust configurations, and the evolution of a unified Hybrid Identity environment (Entra ID)
Design and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps for global networking (SD-WAN/SASE), cloud (Azure), and data center services
Integrate architectural patterns aligned with NIST, CMMC, and ISO 27001 frameworks in close partnership with Information Security
Act as the primary architect for evaluating new technologies and vendors to ensure long-term stability and cost-efficiency
Lead a global team of engineers in the design, build, and deployment of resilient infrastructure solutions
Direct the engineering of Microsoft Intune and MDM/MAM platforms to support global endpoint management and modern workspace delivery
Oversee the architectural design of Azure services, ensuring high availability, governance, and cost-optimization
Formalize the Operational Acceptance Criteria (OAC) and Project Management Framework (PMF) to ensure seamless handovers from Engineering to Operations
Champion the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable, automated deployments
Coordinate global system modernization, from initial design through end-of-life planning and decommissioning
Ensure all engineering deliverables meet rigorous compliance requirements, including SOX and ISO 27001
Collaborate with Finance (CapEx/OpEx), Audit, and Security to align infrastructure spend and standards with business goals
Qualification
Required
Deep experience with Active Directory architecture, domain consolidation, and modern identity platforms (Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA, SSO)
Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, and firewalls. You understand how to connect global manufacturing sites to the cloud securely
High proficiency in Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS) architecture and governance
Hands-on experience with Intune or similar modern MDM/UEM strategies
Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC
6+ years of progressive IT leadership overseeing global engineering or architecture teams
Experience delivering large-scale, multi-region infrastructure projects (Cloud migrations, Network refreshes, or Identity consolidations)
Experience architecting solutions within NIST, CMMC, or ISO 27001 frameworks
Ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into executive-level presentations
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferred. Equivalent technical leadership experience will be considered
Preferred
Preferred Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, CCNP, or ITIL
