Responsibilities
Design, expand, and maintain our data warehouse and ELT pipelines
Build and deploy data models using dbt
Help expand and maintain Terraform HCL
Maintain and create data-rich user experiences with embedded analytics visualizations leveraging Looker and modern frontend BI frameworks
Interact with a variety of APIs ranging from SOAP to REST to GraphQL
Develop unique solutions via technology and automations to provide frictionless experiences for internal and external users
Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues and pipeline failures and warnings
Help define and implement data governance best practices
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Data Analyst experience, Data Engineering, or relevant technical experience
2+ years of experience with SQL
1-2+ years of experience with dbt, DataForm, or similar tooling
1-2+ years of experience with Python
Experience with a cloud data warehouse, we use BigQuery
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and concepts, we use Terraform
Experience with an orchestration tool, we use Kestra
Experience with Docker
Experience building dashboards and reports in BI Visualization software, we use Looker
Experience with interacting and using APIs
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Version Control Git software, we use GitHub
DevOps CICD pipeline exposure (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, etc…)
Able to work in a fast workplace environment, and able to work proactively
