Responsibilities

Prepare and test samples using instrumental and wet chemistry methods

Perform routine process monitoring tests throughout the plant

Record and report test results using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Maintain retained samples to verify results when needed

Communicate test results and required adjustments to operations

Calibrate and perform light maintenance on lab equipment

Maintain accurate documentation and daily testing records

Ensure lab cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment storage

Follow all safety, GMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and company standards

Qualification

Required

Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred

Familiarity with lab equipment such as pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers

Experience with lab documentation and data entry

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Ability to multitask and work as part of a team

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred

LIMS experience

Wet chemistry or analytical testing background

Previous plant or production environment experience
