Associate Professor, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
The University of South Florida Libraries is inviting applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The successful candidates will contribute to research and teaching in areas such as Computational Supersonic and Hypersonic Flows, AI, Autonomy, Robotics, and more, while also mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

A detailed curriculum vitae
The names and contact information of at least four professional references
A statement (totaling no more than five pages) of the applicant’s research plans and teaching interests. A description of broader impacts should be included in the research plan
Qualification
Required
Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
Demonstrated record of scholarly achievements to contribute to fundamental research thrust areas in the College of Engineering
Meet university criteria for appointments as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
Preferred
Demonstrated excellence in scholarly research and publications
Potential for sustaining an externally funded research program
Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
