Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for a diverse population, including adults and older adults with neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions

Perform cognitive assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning for conditions such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative disorders

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers, to deliver patient-centered care

Provide feedback to patients, families, and referral sources with detailed reports and recommendations

Participate in neuropsychological research projects, contributing to advancements in clinical practice

Supervise and mentor psychology trainees, as appropriate

Attend didactic training, case conferences, and continuing education workshops to stay abreast of developments in the field

Required

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program

Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship with substantial training in neuropsychology

Strong foundation in neuropsychological assessment and interpretation of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Meets criteria for licensure in Georgia as a psychology trainee or postdoctoral fellow
