Responsibilities
Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording journal entries, and reconciling accounts
Assist with the preparation and processing of month end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
Assist with the maintenance of accounting systems for financial transactions
Maintain schedules and roll forwards for certain accounts and reconcile to the general ledger
Assist with cash application/cash management and bank account reconciliations
Support management through the generation and analysis of reports
Assist with accumulating support for auditors
Assist with the monitoring for compliance with internal controls in the department
Assist with monitoring revenue recognition and software capitalization
Act as a backup for other areas in the department if needed
Operate accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
Check figures, posting and documents for accuracy
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations
Compile, statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and profits and losses
Code documents according to company procedures
Reconcile documents and reports discrepancies found in records
As part of the EMS- Environment Management System, will meet compliance obligations and accountability by contributing but not limited to the company's recycling guidelines, proper waste and other environmental performance practices

Qualification
Required
3+ years of accounting experience
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in written format
Have a professional demeanor, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Willingness to work as an active contributor to a team
Dedication to accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work on multiple-overlapping objectives
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
Preferred
BA in Accounting or Finance
