Head of Applications & Integrations

Aspen Standard Wealth is building a national RIA platform and is seeking a hands-on Head of Applications & Integrations. This leader will be responsible for building, integrating, and optimizing the technology backbone that powers Aspen and its partner RIAs, ensuring smooth workflows and data integration across systems.

Responsibilities

Play a leading role in configuring and optimizing Aspen’s fast-growing enterprise platform: CRM, Portfolio Management, ERP, Compliance Technology, Data Warehouse, Digital Marketing, and the Integrations Layer
Act as system owner and primary administrator of key tools, ensuring configuration aligns to business needs
Manage system enhancements, vendor relationships, and user requests across the application stack
Collaborate across teams to drive execution, with opportunity to grow into future leadership
Build and maintain cross-platform integrations, especially across CRM, ERP, reporting, and marketing systems
Leverage tools like Workato and native APIs to ensure clean data flow and automation
Collaborate with Aspen’s data team to enable warehouse-ready data pipelines
Partner with Aspen Deal and Integration teams to assess acquired firms’ tech stack and lead onboarding onto core systems
Curate the advisor onboarding experience by minimizing disruption and surfacing high-value, time-to-value wins
Configure and deploy tools quickly and thoughtfully, delivering both speed and quality
Drive change management and training initiatives to maximize tool usage and impact
Develop and deliver documentation, sessions, and office hours to support user success
Act as the translator between the technical build and the user experience
Document and implement best practices across application use
Own application governance, access policies, and change management workflows
Serve as escalation point for high-priority troubleshooting and support needs

Required

4–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems, SaaS tools, or business systems leadership
Experience in wealth management, private equity-backed, or multi-site environments is a plus
Direct experience integrating across platforms like ERP, Digital Marketing, CRM & Practice Management, and Compliance or similar
Excellence: Operates with precision, reliability, and pride in delivering high-quality systems

Empathy: Builds trust through listening and understanding the needs of RIAs, advisors, and internal teams
