Wordpress Technical Manager
cmsMinds is a company specializing in WordPress solutions, and they are seeking a Wordpress Technical Manager to oversee the delivery of WordPress projects. This role involves project planning, client communication, team coordination, quality management, and process documentation.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of WordPress projects (custom themes, plugins, e-commerce, migrations, performance optimization)
Break requirements into tasks, timelines, milestones, and sprints
Create and manage project plans, sprint boards, and delivery schedules
Ensure scope, cost, and timelines are clearly defined and controlled
Act as the primary point of contact for clients
Lead requirement gathering, kickoff calls, weekly status updates, and delivery reviews
Manage client expectations, handle change requests, and ensure transparency
Coordinate with WordPress developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps teams
Assign tasks, track progress, remove blockers, and ensure accountability
Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Ensure WordPress best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines are followed
Oversee QA cycles, UAT support, and final production releases
Identify delivery risks early and proactively resolve issues
Maintain clear documentation: BRDs, SOWs, user stories, acceptance criteria
Improve delivery processes, templates, and SOPs continuously
Ensure proper handover, deployment, and post-launch support readiness
