Responsibilities

Design and project engineer special machine systems utilizing engineering principles, knowledge, and related mechanical design engineering experience
Lead and mentor other Machine Designers and Detailers
Conceptualize designs and project engineer to completion
Create models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software
Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, bearings, hydraulics, conveyors, and piping
Review bid specifications, detailed drawings, technical manuals, and bill of materials
Provide production and customer support

Required

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but not required
Machine design experience, preferably process equipment, material handling, or automation equipment
Solidworks software experience, but Inventor, Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, or any 3D software experience considered
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Technical ability, team-oriented, and attention to detail
Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
Ability to Relocate: Grand Rapids, MI 49504: Relocate before starting work (Required)
