Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and public works projects
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and the leadership team to ensure accuracy and alignment with execution strategy
Conduct quantity take-offs using Bluebeam and Excel
Communicate clearly and effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all bids and proposals
Support value engineering and alternate solutions when applicable
Qualification
Required
8+ years of estimating experience in commercial and/or public works construction, self-perform experience a must
Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel is required
Strong understanding of construction documents, scopes of work, and bid procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
Comfortable working in-office full time, Monday through Friday
