Staff Psychiatrist (PCN 062222M)
The Alaska Psychiatric Institute is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care in an acute inpatient setting. The role involves conducting assessments, leading treatment planning, and overseeing psychological services for adult and adolescent patients within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualification
Required
Must hold an M.D. or D.O. with psychiatry board eligibility or certification
Must meet licensure requirements for practice in Alaska
Must be Board-eligible/board-certified Psychiatrist
At the time of application are requested to submit college transcripts (if using education to meet the minimum qualifications)
At time of interview applicant must submit a list of three (3) professional references, including daytime phone numbers, two (2) of which are from a current or former supervisor
At time of interview applicant must submit copies of your two (2) most recent performance evaluations, or two (2) letters of professional reference, if available
At time of interview applicant must submit a current copy of professional licensure
Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, which includes a state and FBI fingerprint-based background check
Must provide proof of Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap), Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR), and Varicella Immunizations
Must provide proof of Hepatitis B (immunity or declination statement)
Must provide annual Influenza vaccination or a signed declination statement
Must provide proof of Tuberculosis screening within past 12 months
Preferred
Experience in inpatient or forensic settings
