Responsibilities

Works with appropriate parties to draw docs and clear any outstanding conditions prior to loan funding
Reviews signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state and local law and company policies and procedures
Reviews and approves settlement statement from closing agent
Verifies and prepares wire transfer requests
Verifies loan amount, all fees, rates, discount points and other funding amounts
Reviews signed loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, title reports and escrow instructions
Inputs funding information into the Encompass loan system(s)
Follows up with any post-closing issues that may arise
Maintains a working knowledge of Company and regulatory changes that effect the funding process
Resolves funding discrepancies with the Servicing Department and Shipping Department
Assists departmental support staff when necessary
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Must demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of mortgage loan closing and funding
Experienced in NONQM, Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs for wet and dry states
Understanding of current regulations
Maintains highly confidential information concerning clients
Requires high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously
Constant contact with title/escrow companies and internal office staff
Normal coordination of various duties required
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to handle detailed assignments
Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Strong customer service skills
